Behind the scenes at ETC ...

Top Drawer -16 September 2013

We are often asked where we source our products and whether they are Fairtrade or made in Great Britain? So here is a little bit of an insight into our thoughts and a behind the scenes view of ETC ...

Our philosophy is to provide an emporium of stylish high quality homeware, gorgeous accessories and unique imaginative gifts. All of our products are personally chosen to add that special touch, whether it is for you, your home or as a gift. We are keen to promote British based independent crafts people as well as Fair Trade items all of which we believe contribute to an eclectic mix and delightful blend of contemporary and classic styles.

We stock many items which have been personally handcrafted locally such as all of our beautiful fine bone china mugs, gorgeous jewellery and exquisite limited edition prints. We also attend some of the best Trade Shows in the UK and today we have been to Top Drawer in London www.topdrawer.co.uk. This is one of the UK's leading and largest Gift and Home Accessories Shows. It is packed with some of the best design inspired products from over 800 suppliers. This event provides us with new and exciting design led products.

Top Drawer is a fantastic event in Olympia. It's huge so no need to go to the gym this evening as we will be putting our feet up with a large glass of wine! If you are a lover of homeware, gifts and jewellery it's like being a child in a massive sweet shop. Lots of gorgeous products but which ones do you pick? So here's a bit of an insight into our 'picks' of the day - gorgeous cushions, scented candles and some beautiful handmade cards made from pencil shavings (order placed at Top Drawer so watch this space) all of which have been carefully made in the UK.

Phew!!! another Top Drawer completed so back to the office to order some truly stunning new products and then to pour that large glass of wine!
